Finnish Delicacies made in Chiang Mai, Thailand
Finnish Sourdough Rye Bread ("ruisleipä") is now available in Chiang Mai,
the capital of the northern region of Thailand.
The Rye Bread loaf is made by a special fermentation process
using sourdough starter. This gives the bread a
distinctive and delicious taste.
Put a slice into a toaster to get a crisp top. Add cold butter
and maybe some freshly-salted salmon. The combination is
unique.
In addition to Rye bread, we also bake traditional Karelian Rice Pasties
("karjalanpiirakka"), made with rye crust, filled with rice pudding.
Excellent when served with eggbutter,
a Karelian spread made of butter and hard boiled eggs.
Popular Finnish "street-food", Minced Meat Pie ("lihapiirakka")
is kind of a Finnish substitute for a hot dog. The pie
encases a filling of ground pork, rice, onion, and spices.
Serve warm and add some sausage, fried egg, cheese
or similar in between. This will not leave you hungry.

be consolidated and made on Sunday-evening, delivered/sent Monday-morning.
Orders meeting the minimum quantities will be made straight away.
Mail Order Rye Bread
We ship Rye Bread to any location in Thailand by EMS Mail.
EMS Mail is inexpensive, reliable and fairly quick shipping method.
Delivery time to Central Bangkok area is normally 24-27 hours
and most other locations 48-52 hours.
When your order has been shipped we will send you EMS tracking number which
enables you to check the shipment status through EMS tracking system.
EMS Mail is delivered right to your address. If the mailman does not reach you
he will leave a delivery notification card.
Our standard shipping day for any size orders is Monday (orders must be in by Saturday 17:00) and if your
order meets minimum quantity, it can be shipped any day you desire.
